Kokoroko have announced their return to Australia, playing a trio of headlining shows across November 2025. The shows come following the UK jazz collective’s announcement on this year’s Strawberry Fields line-up, and marks their second tour of the country following their 2023 maiden voyage as part of that year’s WOMADelaide and Golden Plains festivities. The group’s full 2025 itinerary, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.
Joining the band as support for all three headlining shows will be Setwun & The Soulstranauts. The project of Sydney-based multi-instrumentalist and DJ Setwun, the six-piece jazz-funk outfit made their debut last year and performed as part of the Sydney Festival back in January, as a tribute to the late Roy Ayers. As a DJ, Setwun has also spent 2025 opening for the likes of DJ Shadow (at the City Recital Hall in Sydney), Chaka Khan (at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall) and NxWorries’ KNXWLEDGE at Oxford Art Factory. His second EP, Visions In Venus, is set for release later in 2025.
Kokoroko’s Australian tour comes in support of their second studio album, Tuff Times Never Last. Released earlier this month on Friday, July 11th, the follow-up to 2022’s Could We Be More was flanked by four singles: ‘Three Piece Suit’ in October 2025, ‘Sweetie’ in April 2025, ‘Closer To Me’ the following month and ‘Just Can’t Wait’ in June. A fifth single, ‘Da Du Dah’, was shared on the same day as the album’s release with a music video from Akinola Davies, Jr. It can be viewed below.
