K-pop singer-songwriter WOODZ is seemingly teasing his comeback – find out more below.

Yesterday (July 21), WOODZ was discharged from his mandatory South Korean military service after 18 months. During his enlistment, WOODZ served in the military band, and was presented with the “special warrior” award, per the Korea Times.

Shortly after returning from his military service, WOODZ took to social media with a cryptic teaser dubbed ‘OUT OF TIME ARTIFACTS’. The teaser – presumably hinting at his return to music – includes a snippet of a rock song and the lyrics ‘Keep on running‘.

Check out WOODZ’s ‘OUT OF TIME ARTIFACTS’ below.

During his enlistment period, WOODZ released several demos on SoundCloud as gifts to fans. While these aren’t considered official releases, one of the demos he released was a collaboration with Day6’s Young K, titled ‘Falling’.

His last release before enlisting this January was his December 2023 single album ‘Amnesia’, which included the songs ‘Amnesia’ and ‘Behind’.

In other military-related K-pop news, BTS reunited for the first time since 2022 earlier this month, with all seven members having completed their mandatory military service in South Korea. During the livestream, the band confirmed rumours that they were preparing to release new music.

“We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year. Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music. Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started,” BTS said in a statement.

“We’re also planning a world tour alongside the new album,” they added. “We’ll be visiting fans all around the world, so we hope you’re as excited as we are.”
