Now in its fourth year, the philanthropic effort from Sydney/Eora-based artist services agency Good Intent is offering one standout emerging act $4K in cold hard cash to invest in their career, as well as an eye-watering range of artist services from the the best music pros in the game, to help turbo-boost your next music release.

An impressive bunch of new industry partners are jumping on board this year’s initiative alongside a handful of OGs, including APRA AMCOS, Forbes Street Studios, Jungle Merchandise, PHILTER, Zenith Records, Media Arts Lawyers, Billy Zammit, PLAKKIT and Louder Accounting.
Notably, this year’s winner will also score a 1:1 Creative Consultation Session with TikTok music guru, Ollie Wards.
While ultimately there can only be one winner, a total twenty artists who make it to the final shortlist will also cop a special prize pack.
“We’re very privileged to be able to help grow our industry through this initiative, in collaboration with our incredible collection of partners,” Good Intent’s Rick Bridgman shares. “We’ve discovered so many exceptional artists over the years (some established, many brand-new), with over 600 applicants alone last year.
“We’re honoured to provide this package, guidance and skill development to the winner, plus the 20 shortlisted applicants and more to help shape their futures. Can’t wait to get stuck in again!” he adds.
Previous Greater Good winners include Meanjin/Brisbane-based teen sensation ixarus, Cavanbah/Byron Bay-based surf rock act Lazy Ghost, Sydney/Eora femme-punk shooting star PENI PARKER and Cairns crooner Jelly Oshen.
Designed to provide a launchpad for exceptional emerging artists to kickstart their career, the Greater Good Initiative is open to all independent Aussie artists. Applications are open now, and will close on Wednesday, 3rd September.

Grant For Release Promotion & Career Development
