Royel Otis have continued the rollout for their second studio album Hickey, releasing the album’s third single ‘Say Something’. The follow-up to last month’s ‘Car’ sees the Sydney band’s core duo of Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic co-writing with American pop songwriter Billy Walsh – whose CV includes extensive work with Post Malone, as well as songs with The Kid LAROI and Dua Lipa.

In a seven-word press statement, the band had only this to say about ‘Say Something’: “This is a song about unspoken words.” Its release is accompanied by a new music video, directed by Richard Pope – better known as Relta – which sees Pavlovic and Maddell performing the song both inside and on top of a moving bus. The video was shot on location in Berlin, with Pope noting that the duo were caught out in “the pouring rain” when it came to shooting the scenes on top of the bus. “I think I apologised like 50 times for putting them through that,” he said. “The things we do.” Watch below.

‘Say Something’ arrives as the band continues to expand their homecoming Australian tour for October 2025, which will see them tour nationally for the first time since February 2024. Second shows have now been added in both Brisbane and the band’s hometown of Sydney, with the original dates having already sold out. The full updated list of the band’s tour dates can be found below.
