Reggie Watts has announced he will play a run of shows in Australia this coming November, marking his return to the country for the first time since his aptly-titled Finally Back In Australia tour in 2018. The award-winning American musician, comedian and improviser will perform in theatres across the country, including a return to the Sydney Opera House for the third time in his career. The full list of Watts’ upcoming tour dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.
Watts’ live shows are completely improvised, with him creating loops of beatboxing, vocals and keyboards. He is also a frequent musical collaborator, working with bands and artists such as The Flaming Lips, Joan As Police Woman, Cherry Glazerr and the late MF Doom. Most notably for Australian music fans, Watts is well known for his two collaborative singles with Sydney duo Flight Facilities: ‘Sunshine’ in 2014, and ‘Stranded’ in 2018, which also features Broods and Saro. The former was particularly popular with triple j listeners, charting at 52 in that year’s Hottest 100.
