Strummingbird has announced its inaugural line-up, with a blend of international and national pop-country set to take to the stage on the Sunshine Coast, Newcastle and Perth over late October and early November 2025. Headlining the festival will be multi-platinum American singer-songwriters Jelly Roll and Shaboozey, who will each be making their Australian debut as part of the festival. The full line-up, dates, venues and both pre-sale and general ticketing information can be found below.
Jelly Roll’s Australian debut comes in support of his 10th studio album, Beautifully Broken. Released last October, the album became the Tennessee native’s first chart-topper on the Billboard 200. The album has produced two platinum-selling singles, ‘I Am Not Okay’ and ‘Liar’, which both reached the top five of the Billboard Country Charts. Shaboozey, meanwhile, is touring in support of his third studio album Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going.
It was released in May 2024 as part of what proved to be a banner year for the Virginia musician, whose signature song ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ became the longest-running number-one song of all time on the Billboard Hot 100 at 19 weeks, a feat he shares with Lil Nas X for his 2019 hit ‘Old Town Road’. The song topped the charts in ten different countries, including Australia – where it is certified quintuple platinum by ARIA.

Other acts on the marquee for the first-time festival include Texas’ Treaty Oak Revival, local country star James Johnston, folk duo The Dreggs and New Zealand singer-songwriter Kaylee Bell. Matt Hansen, from Berkeley, and Drew Baldridge from Nashville are both also set to make their Australian debuts as part of the festival. Line-dancing, a mechanical bull and an after-hours pub called the Late Night Riot is also set to be included. Hot Dub Time Machine will host the latter on the Sunshine Coast and Perth, while Newcastle’s hosting duties will be handled by Peking Duk’s Reuben Styles – who will also perform under his solo country moniker Y.O.G.A. (You’re Only Great Always).
