Jimmy Barnes has expanded his recently-announced Working Class Man tour with a new show in Sydney. On Wednesday, December 10th, Barnes and his band will perform at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt – where he will be joined by his tourmate Kate Ceberano as opener. Barnes’ updated tour itinerary, as well as ticketing information for the new date, can be found below.

The tour will see Barnes playing his second solo album, For The Working Class Man, in its entirety for the very first time to commemorate its 40th anniversary. In addition to the album, Barnes will also play a selection of other hits from across both his solo career and his work with Cold Chisel. On the rest of the tour, Barnes and Ceberano will be joined on the line-up by fellow ARIA Hall-Of-Famers Icehouse and Barnes’ Cold Chisel bandmate Ian Moss – who will also be playing a set of both his solo songs and Cold Chisel songs on which he sang lead, such as ‘Saturday Night’ and ‘Bow River’.

“For The Working Class Man was such a significant album in my life,” said Barnes in a press statement last month. “I got to make the record with some amazing people, and it really set up the rest of my solo career. I’m so excited to be celebrating For The Working Class Man with some of my dearest friends and favourite artists. I can think of no better way to mark this milestone than by performing these songs in some of the most beautiful, iconic outdoor venues across Australia.”
