Doechii has withdrawn from the line-ups of two major U.K. festivals this coming weekend (Aug. 23, 24) with no explanation given.

The “Anxiety” star was scheduled to perform at London’s All Points East and Bristol’s Forwards festival on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. On Tuesday morning (Aug. 19), both festivals shared a statement to their social media accounts explaining that Doechii would no longer be appearing on their bills.

London’s All Points East wrote, “We’re very sorry to announce that Doechii will no longer be performing at her upcoming shows. She is an incredible artist, and, like all of her fans, we were hugely excited to see her on stage. All Points East has an amazing line-up including RAYE, Tyla, JADE, Jyoty, Nao and many more, and it’s set to be a truly unforgettable day.”

Similarly, Forwards shared, “We are very sad to announce that Doechii will not be performing at her upcoming shows. She is an incredible artist and we were as excited as you were to bring her to our hometown of Bristol. We are so proud of this year’s Sunday lineup, with three amazing female headliners in Jorja Smith, The Last Dinner Party and Olivia Dean gracing our stage, as well as a plethora of other amazing musical talent across the day.”

Both festivals said that they “hope to welcome” Doechii to their festivals in the future. No reason has been given for the last-minute cancellation on Doechii’s behalf; Billboard U.K. has approached Doechii’s team for comment. Doechii was also set to perform at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, France on Thursday (Aug. 21), and the festival has announced she will no longer perform.

Doechii last performed in the U.K. at Glastonbury Festival in England back in June, with a set that Billboard U.K. called an “all-time great debut” at the storied event, and that it was “one for the history books.”

She has since performed at a number of festivals throughout Europe and North America over the past month, including Denmark’s Roskilde Festival and Lollapalooza in Chicago, Ill. at the start of August. She last performed at Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium on Sunday (Aug. 17).

Doechii is set to tour North America from October onwards as part of her Live From the Swamp tour.
