Melbourne prog-rock shapeshifters Closure In Moscow are heading home in February 2026 for a huge national run, and they’re bringing some serious friends along for the ride.
Joining them across shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane will be US prog rock heavyweights The Dear Hunter and noneother than Anthony Green, AKA the powerhouse vocalist behind Circa Survive, Saosin, The Sound of Animals Fighting and L.S. Dunes.
Closure in Moscow – ‘Keeper of the Lake’
The announcement follows Closure’s sold-out North American tour with The Fall of Troy and A Lot Like Birds, and marks the first chance for Aussie fans to hear tracks from their latest record Soft Hell live on home soil.
What’s more, the band will also be celebrating the 12th anniversary of their cult classic second album, Pink Lemonade.
Released in 2023 after a nine-year gap, Soft Hell hit #1 on the Australian 100% Independent Chart and debuted at #6 on the ARIA Album Chart, earning critical acclaim for its mix of towering riffs, cinematic textures and raw emotion. Produced by Andrei Eremin (Tash Sultana, Chet Faker), the album has since racked up over a million streams.
Closure In Moscow have always defied easy genre tags, moving fluidly through post-hardcore, prog, soul, funk, electronica, and beyond. And their handpicked supports fit that same adventurous spirit.
The Dear Hunter are returning down under for the first time since 2009, armed with Casey Crescenzo’s sprawling catalogue of prog concept records and cult-favourite epics. While Anthony Green is making his first-ever solo trip to our shores, pulling from his vast back catalogue and bringing the kind of magnetic stage presence that’s made him one of post-hardcore’s most iconic frontmen.
