Doja Cat has finally announced the details of her upcoming album ‘Vie’, and has shared the dance-y single ‘Jealous Type’.

In April, Doja Cat began teasing her new era, which she confirmed was being titled ‘Vie’. Since then, she’s been steadily teasing the project, including the nostalgic pop tune ‘Jealous Type’. Earlier this month, she hosted a surprise album-listening preview party.

Now, the singer-rapper has officially confirmed that the album is due for release on September 26. You can pre-order the record or pre-save it on digital streaming platforms here.

She’s also released the retro-inspired video for the Jack Antonoff-produced ‘Jealous Type’. The accompanying video sees Doja Cat channel various 1980s pop culture themes – including water sprinklers raining over her as she dances, campy outfits and more.

Watch the music video for ‘Jealous Type’ below.

Additionally, Doja Cat has announced her first-ever tour of Australia, New Zealand and Asia, set to kick off later this year. Dubbed the ‘Ma Vie World Tour’, the run will see her play shows in Auckland, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Manila, Singapore, Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok and Kaohsiung between November and December.

Given that the run is being presented as the first leg of a world tour, it is safe to assume that Doja Cat will be announcing ‘Ma Vie’ shows for Europe, the UK, North America and other regions in the coming months.

Doja Cat’s ‘Ma Vie’ 2025 world tour dates are:

    NOVEMBER
18 – Auckland, New Zealand – Spark Arena
    22 – Perth, Australia – RAC Arena
25 – Melbourne, Australia – Rod Laver Arena
29 – Brisbane, Australia – Brisbane Entertainment Centre

    DECEMBER
01 – Sydney, Australia – Qudos Bank Arena
07 – Manila, Philippines – SM Mall of Asia Arena
    10 – Singapore – Singapore Indoor Stadium
    13 – Seoul, South Korea – Kintex Hall 10
    15 – Tokyo, Japan – K-Arena Yokohama
    18 – Bangkok, Thailand – Impact Exhibition Hall 5-6
    21 – Kaohsiung, Taiwan – Kaohsiung Arena

‘Vie’ will mark her first LP since 2023’s ‘Scarlet’, and while she hasn’t dropped a new album since, she did release a collaborative track with Jack Harlow titled ‘Just Us’ earlier this year, which was accompanied by a star-studded video featuring the likes of Matt Damon, John Mayer, PinkPantheress and Succession actor Nicholas Braun.

Doja’s last album, ‘Scarlet’, was released in 2023 and it scored a three-star review from NME: “It all adds up to an overlong, slightly repetitive but ultimately compelling album of two halves… Still, by this stage, there’s no doubt that Doja has made her point – that she doesn’t owe us anything but to be herself.”

She also gave a performance at the Oscars in March, singing ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ as part of a James Bond medley. She later admitted to having felt nervous ahead of it and conceded that she “hit some flats”.
