This is one of those songs that just falls out of you, it was a culmination of multiple situations that were difficult to process, losing a lover while at the same time having a friend pass who was younger than myself… it really made me look inwards. I try my best to find the silver linings and when dealing with loss I try to think of how lucky I am that I’ve had these moments in the first place.
