Attendees of All Points East 2025 have been complaining about high levels of dust at Victoria Park.

The East London festival kicked off last week with headline slots from Cleo Sol and SAULT, who performed last Friday (August 15), and Chase & Status on Saturday (16). There was also a free community event headlined by legendary DJ Pete Tong on Sunday (17).

Last night (August 22), Barry Can’t Swim headlined, and tonight (August 23) will see BRIT Award-winning singer and songwriter RAYE top the bill of an all-female line-up which includes Tyla, JADE, Nao, Cat Burns, Eliza Rose, former NME Cover star Chloe Qisha, NME 100 alumni Nia Smith, and more.

FKA Twigs was also recently added to the line-up to replace Doechii, who dropped out earlier this week.

However, those attending over the past two weekends have reported extremely dusty conditions on the festival grounds, with one fan writing on Twitter/X that they have “never experienced dust like this,” showing photos of clothing and skin covered in dirt.

It comes as London has experienced high temperatures over the past few months, with the Met Office reporting that the city has faced one of its warmest summers to date. Little rain combined with many hot days creates dry, dusty conditions at the park.

One festival attendee said, “I’m sure I’ve lost my voice because my lungs is covered in dust,” while another added: “We all left looking like we’d been in the mines all day.”

“Don’t go to All Points East unless you want to come back looking like a chimney sweep,” another fan joked. Check out more reactions below.

I loved yesterday at all points east, not the biggest dnb fan but the vibe was insane. However two showers later and I still feel dirty, coughing up so much dust 😣 and I’m supposed to do it all again next week? Pls let it rain I’d rather slid about than smell that dust again

PSA if you’re going to @allpointseastuk tomorrow/ monday…maybe wear a mask? If you’re asthmatic/ have any respiratory issues/ dust allergies then good luck. I have never experienced dust like this lol https://t.co/6EwrA7EHiY pic.twitter.com/kAvCnNwrxb

All points east was something yesterday …. We all left looking like we had been in the mines all day from the dust . Took over 1 hour to leave the festival due to having only 1 exit for 30,000 people …

Look All Points East on Friday was good yeah, but…

Why is no one talking about how DUTTY Victoria Park was?

How am I seeing pale white people leave with their feet black like they been working in a coal mine??

The bottom of my skirt was brown

All Points East was so dusty, I should’ve brought a scarf or mask to cover

Went to all points east yesterday and everyone was staring at me on the jubilee line from how dusty I was 😭

NME caught SAULT’s performance, which marked their second-ever live show, following their debut performance at London’s Drumsheds in 2023.

In a three-star review, NME dubbed the set a “five-hour marathon”, where “dancers and choir members are covered in burnt ochre cloaks, looking like wanderers from this mythical on-stage world of sand, dunes, and rocks streaked with gold veins.”

It continued: “You understand [Cleo] Sol’s intent – to showcase the full Sault universe in this non-traditional style – but the night still ends as it began, in confusion. For the collective’s latest rare live performance, less mystique and more music would’ve done the trick – then maybe their All Points East set would have lived up to the highs of the Drumsheds.”
