Ariana Grande has begun teasing her plans for 2026 – find out more below.

Yesterday (August 27), the ‘Dangerous Woman’ musician took to social media to share a cryptic video. The video, which features sci-fi elements, includes an automated voice that narrates “A corrupt file has been found and corrected”, before panning out to four small screens. A woman’s hand – believed to be a tie-in from her recent Brighter Days Ahead short film – reaches out before the screen goes black and the words “see you next year… announcement loading” flash onscreen.

While clues and details within the video have yet to be debunked, it is believed to release to the character Peaches, an elderly woman in Grande’s Brighter Days Ahead short film that accompanied the deluxe version of ‘Eternal Sunshine’ earlier this year.
That short film sees Peaches visit Brighter Days Inc. to re-watch the last four memories extracted from her brain when she permanently wiped any memory of her ex-partner. Now, in the teaser, the four screens Peaches reaches out to include hints on where Grande’s announcement could take us.
Two of the four screens hint at a possible tour – one screen is a still from Grande’s live performance of ‘Eternal Sunshine’, while the other seemingly points at Grande’s last tour back in 2019.
Additionally, the singer in July promised fans that she wasn’t “abandoning” music despite her recent focus on acting and suggested that she would be hitting the road for a short stint next year: “Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing and music…!!! It is and always has been my lifeline. There will need to be room made for all of it… Finding a balance, between many projects and endeavors I love, and doing it my own way… so I’m working on a plan to sing for you all next year. Even if it’s just for a little.”
Grande’s last musical output was her March 2024 album ‘Eternal Sunshine’. Ariana’s last tour concluded in 2019, and she has yet to stage a full concert since then. Between 2019 and 2025, Grande has performed live only a handful of times, mainly at non-profit events and award shows.
In a four-star review of ‘Eternal Sunshine’, Nick Levine wrote for NME: “It’s the most sophisticated project yet from a preternaturally talented vocalist who keeps getting better. Whatever you take away from it, ‘Eternal Sunshine’ definitely isn’t an album you’ll want to wipe from memory.”
Meanwhile, Wicked similarly received a four-star review from NME, with Nick Levine writing: “By the end, you won’t quite be levitating off your seat but you’ll definitely be enchanted enough to stream the soundtrack on the way home. Funny, colourful and full of empathy for outsiders, this film really is the Shiz.”
