At just 12 years old, Eora/Sydney artist Zeyah is already clocking global attention – copping a scholarship to the same prestigious Prodigy Camp in the US that launched the career of global megastar Chappell Roan – and now she’s delivered a radiant new single dubbed ‘See You All Tonight’.
Recorded at Forbes Street Studios with producer Ethan Reginato, the infectious track celebrates friendship, freedom and all the chaotic joy of being young.
Zeyah – ‘See You All Tonight’
Even more remarkably, the song first sparked when the young artist was just nine years old (!!!), writing chords on her piano, before she finally finished it mid–long-haul flight back from the UK.
“My mum challenged me to write something fun and upbeat instead of another sad song,” she shares in a press statement. “I was really proud of myself that I could.”
The track arrives alongside a slice-of-life video that was filmed with her mates across Dolls Point Beach, Leumeah Skate Park and the Woodbine Shops (watch above).
Zeyah’s story so far is already wild: she started composing piano pieces at seven, performing her own songs live by eight, and was named the youngest-ever finalist in the International Songwriting Competition, beating out over 14,000 entrants worldwide. That achievement landed her in the top 1% and in both the Teen and Unsigned categories.
She even caught the eye of Rick Stevenson, founder of the prestigious Prodigy Camp in the US – who bent the age rules (normally 13+) to give her an advanced scholarship at just 11 years old. And yep, it’s the same camp that helped launch Chappell Roan.
Citing influences from Sia, Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish and MIIA, Zeyah already has a knack for fusing raw emotion with a pop sensibility beyond her years.
