CMC Rocks QLD has announced its return for 2026, heading to its longtime home of the Willowbank Raceway in Ipswich. As always, the festival will serve as host to several major names in American country music – including Jacksonville singer-songwriter Riley Green, Nashville quintet Old Dominion and multi-platinum Louisiana singer Jordan Davis. The full line-up can be found below.
Green, Old Dominion and Davis are all making their return to Australia after touring previously – the most recent of which was Davis’, who toured the country in support of Luke Combs back in January and February 2025. Davis and Old Dominion have both formerly played CMC Rocks QLD, too, with sets in 2023 and 2018 respectively. Carly Pearce, too, will return after making her Australian debut with CMC Rocks in 2019, while Tucker Wetmore and Dasha will make their debuts at the festival.
Riley Green – ‘Worst Way’
“Year after year, the loyalty of this crowd blows me away,” said promoter Michael Chugg in a press statement. “Nearly half of them are flying in from interstate, and so many have been making the trip for over a decade. That kind of commitment is rare in live music, and it’s why we work so hard to keep delivering world-class lineups.
“2026’s bill is stacked with incredible talent, big international names, Aussie favourites, and the next generation coming through. It’s going to be one hell of a weekend at Willowbank.” Jeremy Dylan – the festival’s director – added, for his part, that he was excited by “the depth and breadth of this lineup”. “We have been working hard to give the fans an even better experience than our epic 2025 festival,” he said, “and we can’t wait to be back on site in March.”
This year’s line-up included performances from the likes of Thomas Rhett, Cody Johnson and Jon Pardi, as well as first-time performers such as Muscadine Bloodline and Zach Top. It was the first of several country-oriented music festivals to be announced for the year ahead, with Jelly Roll‘s Strummingbird and Megan Moroney‘s Ridin’ Hearts both slated for later this year – as well as the returning Howlin’ Country Festival in Newcastle, booked in for a month before CMC Rocks QLD.
