John Fogerty returned to the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls on August 30, delivering a career-spanning set to a packed house.
The evening opened with Hearty Har, the psychedelic rock group led by Fogerty’s sons Shane and Tyler. After their set, the band returned to the stage as Fogerty’s backing band.
Fogerty launched immediately into “Bad Moon Rising” and “Up Around the Bend,” followed by a steady run of Creedence Clearwater Revival hits, including “Green River,” “Born on the Bayou,” and “Who’ll Stop the Rain.” He also included solo tracks like “Mystic Highway” and “Centerfield,” balancing deep cuts with crowd favorites.
Fogerty ended the night with “Travelin’ Band” and “Proud Mary.”
With strong support from his sons and a polished band, Fogerty, who recently turned 80, showed that his energy and songwriting remain as powerful as ever.
