Tame Impala have announced a US headline tour for 2025 – find all the details below.

The Kevin Parker-led band will hit the road next month in support of their fifth studio album, ‘Deadbeat’, which is released on October 17 via Columbia (pre-order/pre-save here).

Parker and co’s upcoming run of eight arena shows is due to kick off with two nights at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on October 31 and November 1.

From there, Tame Impala will head to Chicago’s United Center (November 3), Austin’s Moody Center (6), San Diego’s Pechanga Arena (9), Los Angeles’ Kia Forum (11, 12), and Oakland Arena (14).

Tickets go on general sale at 12pm local time next Friday (September 12) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access an artist pre-sale at the same time on Wednesday (10) by signing up here.

See the announcement post below, along with the full list of dates.

Tame Impala’s 2025 ‘Deadbeat’ US arena tour dates are:

    OCTOBER
31 – Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York

    NOVEMBER
01 – Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York
03 – United Center, Chicago, IL
06 – Moody Center, Austin, TX
09 – Pechanga Arena, San Diego, CA
11 – Kia Forum, Los Angeles, CA
12 – Kia Forum, Los Angeles, CA
14 – Oakland Arena, Oakland, CA

Tame Impala have already previewed the forthcoming ‘Deadbeat’ with two singles, ‘End Of Summer’ and ‘Loser’. The latter track arrived with an official music video starring Stranger Things‘ Joe Keery (aka Djo).

The group have not performed live together since March 2023. However, Parker debuted ‘End Of Summer’ during a DJ set at Primavera Sound in Barcelona this summer.

‘Deadbeat’, which follows 2020’s ‘The Slow Rush’, is described as “a collection of wickedly potent club-psych explorations” that are “a vehicle for some of [Parker’s] most direct, brain-wormy songwriting to date, recasting Tame Impala as a kind of future primitive rave act in the process”.

The description continues: “Deadbeat’ sounds like the work of an artist with a levelled up mastery and bristles with a revitalised energy for experimentation. 12 songs crafted with a newfound embrace of spontaneity for the renowned perfectionist.

“How that manifests is a distinct minimalism and crunch to many of the tracks, with a clutch of crucial details, timbres and textures that add an ineffably new dimension to the sound, as well as a richer, more playful vocal range than ever.”

In the time since ‘The Slow Rush’, Parker has contributed to the Barbie soundtrack album, and worked on projects with Dua Lipa, Thundercat, Diana Ross, Gorillaz and Justice.
