Dutch Dance music titan Don Diablo has just unveiled his spellbinding reimagining of Fleetwood Mac’s 1987 classic Little Lies, marking the first time the band has ever allowed a dance-electronic artist to use their original parts.
Out now via Warner Records/Major Recordings, this triumphant end of summer gem blends Fleetwood Mac’s iconic, crystalline vocals with Don’s euphonious production style and an organic, driving bassline, melting into a gloriously nostalgic yet forward-thinking anthem that won me over from the start. I am a fan of the original and this is quite an impressive reimaigning perfectly blending the nostalgia of the classic with a fresh, danceable summer touch.
Speaking on the release, Don shares:
Fleetwood Mac’s music has been part of my life since I was a kid, so getting the honour to officially remake ‘Little Lies’ feels surreal… I’ve been testing out the track in my sets over the past year and the reactions have been incredible. I’m beyond excited that it will now finally see an official release and I can share it with the rest of the world.
