“‘Enclave on a Current’ is inspired by a painting my first friend’s mother made of the Delaware river. The song is about memory, love, and the spaces in our childhood minds that aren’t jaded and aren’t afraid to dream. I wrote this song as part of the process of reconnecting with the parts of myself that have been swept away by life.”
