Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride continue their post-apocalyptic European tour in The Walking Dead spin-off series Daryl Dixon.
Created by David Zabel, the series sees Reedus reprise his role as Daryl, who washes ashore in France where the virus outbreak originally began. The show is set after events in The Walking Dead, with McBride also returning as Carol Peletier.
The third season sees Daryl and Carol continue their journey back to America, only to find themselves led further astray into the UK and Spain.
Daryl Dixon is the fifth TV spin-off in The Walking Dead franchise, after Fear The Walking Dead, World Beyond, Tales Of The Walking Dead and Dead City. Another spin-off debuted in 2024, titled The Ones Who Live, bringing the total number to six.
Is The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 available in the UK?
At the time of writing, the third season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is unavailable in the UK. The first two seasons are up on Sky Max and NOW, but a release date for the third has not yet been announced.
A release date is expected over the coming weeks, with the third season currently airing in the US on AMC. The finale will be released on October 19, so it’s likely Sky will announce a UK date as we approach the season’s conclusion across the pond.
Will the show return for a season 4?
In July this year, AMC renewed The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon for a fourth and final season, which will consist of eight episodes.
Speaking about the show’s end, Norman Reedus said: “Daryl Dixon has been an incredible journey. I thank each and every fan who has joined us on this ride. It’s been a privilege to build this story for these characters, and we have so much gratitude for how it’s been embraced.
“Your love and support have made every moment worth it. This finale isn’t just an ending; it’s a celebration of what we’ve all shared together. Keep carrying that love forward – Daryl’s journey is far from over.”
