Scowl have expanded upon their recently-announced return to Australia with a full-scale headlining tour – marking their first time as a stand-alone headliner. The Santa Cruz punk band – who released their second album Are We All Angels back in April – will play eight dates nationwide away from their appearances at the coastal Rolling Sets festival in Tweed Heads and The Entrance, respectively.
Joining them for all headlining shows as main support will be End It, a Baltimore-based hardcore band who will be making their Australian debut as part of the tour package. The band recently released their debut studio album, Wrong Side Of Heaven, on Flatspot Records. Opening the shows in all cities except Perth will be Sydney’s Secret World, the self-described “hardcore rock & roll” five-piece who will release their second EP Tomorrow Is A Mystery To Me next Friday, September 20th.
Scowl – ‘Tonight (I’m Afraid)’
Scowl first toured Australia in mid-2023, touring with Speed alongside Sunami and playing some select co-headlining show together away from the tour. At the time of the tour, the band had released their third EP, Psychic Dance Routine – which featured the singles ‘Opening Night’ and ‘Shot Down’. They will reunite with Speed on the Rolling Sets line-up, marking their first-ever Australian festival.
