Following the success of its inaugural compilation Portal 001, MAHOOL Records returns with the second installment of its acclaimed series, ‘Portal’. The release highlights the label’s vision to bridge cutting-edge global sounds with the thriving creative force of the Middle East. Spanning hypnotic house grooves, immersive techno, and touches of indie dance, Portal 002 presents a strong lineup featuring Moontalk, The Journey, Sonickraft, Rooney Nasr, Sokkary, RDJ, and Bachir Salloum. Each artist adds a unique narrative, collectively shaping a listening experience designed for both the club and beyond.

The compilation opens with Swedish duo Moontalk and their track “Mont Blanc”, a vibrant blend of house and indie dance textures. Next, Australian duo The Journey deliver “Like This”, a melodic techno cut with metallic basslines and creative vocal layers that keep the dance floor moving until dawn. UK-based Sonickraft follows with “Movies”, a hypnotic piece filled with atmospheric pads and vocal layers that set the crowd loose.

Saudi talent Rooney Nasr continues the energy with “My Way”, an uplifting gem driven by provocative grooves and rhythmical intensity. Injecting playfulness and innovation, Egyptian mastermind Sokkary presents “What You Want”, a highly danceable track full of unexpected effects and infectious energy. Shifting the mood, RDJ introduces “BLACKHOLE”, a track balancing deep club storytelling with melodic accents. Closing the journey, Lebanese producer Bachir Salloum delivers “Infinity”, a peak-time anthem guided by dark melodies and evolving progressions.

With Portal 002, MAHOOL Records reaffirms its commitment to showcasing international and regional talent with a carefully curated second compilation. Portal 002 stands as a testament to MAHOOL’s growing influence within the electronic music ecosystem, cementing its reputation as a label to watch in 2025.
