Rock fans are searching for how much Rush ticket prices will be for their reunion tour in 2026, which was announced on Monday, October 6. Presale tickets for the Fifty Something tour will be available on Friday, October 10, at the earliest, with the artist presale starting several days later.
It’s been about a decade since Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson toured together on the R40 40th anniversary concert run back in 2015. This new tour in 2026 will pay tribute to the band’s late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart, who passed away in January 2020 at the age of 67. It will start on June 7, 2026 in Los Angeles and then hit six more cities before ending in Cleveland on September 17. Here’s what we know so far about the cost of a ticket to Rush’s reunion tour.
What are the Rush ticket prices for their 2026 reunion tour?
It is estimated that the ticket prices for Rush’s tour in 2026 will be around $150 at base for general admission, with better seats and VIP packages of course costing more.
This price comes from a sweepstakes held by 94.5 FM The Buzz where a lucky listener can win a pair of tickets to the Fifty Something tour’s stop in Fort Worth, Texas. According to the terms and conditions for the contest, the prize has an approximate retail value of $300 as provided by Live Nation, meaning that a single ticket is valued at $150. This doesn’t include additional fees from retail ticket sites like Ticketmaster.
VIP packages include the “Limelight” Front Row VIP Experience that includes an official meet and greet with Lee and Lifeson, an autograph signing, and access to the Xanadu pre-show lounge.
The first presale for the tour will be available to Citibank customers in the US on Friday, October 12, at 12pm venue time and American Express cardholders in Canada for the Toronto show. This presale will last two days until October 12. Meanwhile, Banamex cardholders in Mexico will have their presale starting October 13 to October 15 depending on their card tier.
Then on the next day, October 13, the artist presale will start at 12PM local time, with customers needing to sign up for it by October 9 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. (In Mexico, it will be available starting October 16.) This artist presale will be available on various sites including Ticketmaster and SeatGeek and will not require an access code. General onsale tickets will be available on Friday, October 17, at 12 PM venue time.
Lee and Lifeson have chosen Anika Nilles as the drummer for the upcoming Rush tour. While she will certainly have large shoes to fill, Nilles has extensive experience, most recently being the drummer for Jeff Beck’s World Tour in 2022. In a statement paired with the tour announcement, the band also hopes to add several more musicians to the tour so that they can “expand our sound a wee bit and free up Alex and I, in order to show off some of our new fancy dance steps.”
