Sydney’s emo party powerhouse Last Words is capping off a year of mayhem with its biggest event yet – a Christmas bash and one-year anniversary celebration that promises total chaos, questionable Santa photos, and riffs heavy enough to jingle your bells clean off.
Teaming up with Darkside Music, the crew are taking over an entire two-level venue for a full-scale festive meltdown, headlined by none other than The Gloom In The Corner – fresh off a massive European tour and ready to bring their cinematic brutality home for one last assassination run before year’s end.

The carnage doesn’t stop there. Joining the Gloom boys are St Sinner, who’ve spent 2025 kicking down doors across the country, and Western Sydney’s breakout heroes Elara, who’ve exploded onto the scene with their own ferocious blend of melody and chaos. Rounding out the live lineup are locals Shadow Talk and Sunless, ready to set the tone early and make sure there’s nothing left standing before the afterparty even begins.
And because it wouldn’t be a Last Words event without total unhinged energy, punters can also look forward to Dodgy Santa photos, a Shitty Xmas Gift Regifting Station, and Naughty or Nice party bags for the first 50 legends through the door.
Once the bands have reduced the place to rubble, the Last Words resident DJs will keep the night alive, spinning punk, emo, and metal bangers until security politely begs everyone to leave.
