Dublin based band Crayfish share their brand new single Hole In Your Pocket, a captivating indie/alt-rock gem about modern Ireland.
Formed by Barry McNamara in 2025 and featuring the musical talents of Jules Farrell, Tosh Molloy, Marcus Dalton and Rory Lahart, Crayfish gift us here with a song steeped in love for Ireland yet criticising the Irish government and their failure to act on the current housing crisis. This is quite a global topic and finds the band sharing their frustration about the current political and social climate in their country through a smooth and warm alternative rock production with retro vibes. I am really enjoying the smooth vocals and how they are accompanied by steady drum beats, killer bass and guitar riffs that come together to create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a laid-back weekend!
