Oasis’ replacement for Bonehead for their upcoming shows in Asia and Australia will reportedly be Mike Moore from Liam Gallagher‘s solo band.

Earlier this month, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs announced that he would be taking a planned break from the Oasis Live ‘25 reunion tour to continue with “the next phase of care” of his prostate cancer treatment.

With their show in Goyang, South Korea taking place tomorrow (October 21), it appears that Bonehead’s replacement will be Mike Moore, who has previously played with Liam Gallagher’s solo band and has been an ever-present on the singer’s three solo albums since 2017.

As reported by The Mirror, sources close to the band have confirmed that Moore will play the Asian and Australian shows, and was spotted at Seoul airport this weekend.

When Bonehead made his announcement at the start of the month, he said: “I’m really sad to be missing these shows but l’m feeling good and will be back ready to go in time for South America. Have an amazing time if you’re going this month and I’ll see you back onstage with the band in November.”

He revealed that he was “responding well” to treatment after having been diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier in the year. He had previously been given the all-clear from tonsil cancer back in 2022.

Arthurs, the original and founding guitarist for Oasis before his exit in 1999, and later regularly a regular in Liam Gallagher‘s solo band, has been commended for his role in the current reunion line-up for adding real heft and power to the sound.

Paying tribute to Bonehead on stage earlier this summer, Noel Gallagher said that he was responsible for Oasis’ return – telling the crowd in Cardiff: “If it wasn’t for him, none of this would have happened.”

Back in March, NME revealed that Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs would be part of the Oasis reunion, alongside Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker. Arthurs played with the band on their first three albums, before departing during the recording of ‘Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants’ (2000).

After South Korea, Oasis will play two nights in Tokyo on October 25 and 26, before heading to Australia for three shows in Melbourne and two in Sydney. Bonehead is scheduled to return to the line-up for the final dates of the tour, which take place in Argentina, Chile and Brazil in November.

Meanwhile, rumours have begun swirling that Oasis may announce more dates for 2026. Liam memorably teased more to come at their final Wembley gig, with him announcing: “‘Champagne Supernova’, see you next year.” He then playfully slapped himself on the wrists to scold himself for letting it slip.
