Get ready to ‘Where’s Your Head’ At under the stars, because Basement Jaxx are bringing their explosive live show back to Australia for the first time in over 15 years.
The Grammy-winning UK electronic duo will take over the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Thursday, 5 March 2026, for a massive open-air celebration marking 30 years of dance floor anthems.
Basement Jaxx – ‘Where’s Your Head At’
After tearing up Coachella earlier this year and relaunching their live tour across the UK and Ireland, Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe are set to transform one of the world’s most iconic stages into a euphoric carnival of sound.
Punters can expect a full-scale sensory overload spanning house, garage, funk, Latin, disco and pop – plus all the hits: ‘Red Alert’, ‘Romeo’, ‘Where’s Your Head At’ and ‘Do Your Thing’.
Known for their wild onstage energy, ever-expanding cast of singers, musicians and dancers, and genre-blurring creativity, Basement Jaxx remain one of the most influential electronic acts of all time – collaborators of Kylie Minogue, Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake, and even The Metropolitan Orchestra.
Sydney Opera House Head of Contemporary Music Ben Marshall summed it up best: “The pulsing spirit and playful chaos of Basement Jaxx live in front of the Opera House sails promises to be a cathartic extravaganza”.
