“Lovers 2 Strangers” was inspired by Dan Whitlam’s poem Juliette — that moment when you bump into an ex and for a split second you’re thrown back into everything you once had, and wondering what life might look like if it had worked out. I wanted to capture that feeling in a liquid drum and bass track — emotional and heartfelt in the lyrics, but carried by a driving beat that pushes you forward. It’s about love, loss, and that haunting ‘what if’ we all know too well.
