Two of electronic music’s most visionary producers, G Jones and Eprom, reunite to unveil “Slamming Keys:” a mind-bending collision of rhythm, texture, and raw digital energy and first single from their forthcoming EP, Disk Utility. The single marks the duo’s first new collaboration of 2025, blurring the lines between experimental bass and breakbeat with their signature precision and chaos. After years of anticipation, this single marks a return to collaborative brilliance, a reminder of their unmatched ability to warp reality through sound.
From the first distorted chord, “Slamming Keys” immerses listeners into a universe of glitching synths, fractured percussion, and seismic low-end, a reminder that no one warps reality quite like G Jones and Eprom. The track’s relentless grooves and hyper-detailed sound design transform complexity into catharsis, showcasing why these two remain the architects of bass music’s avant-garde.
Following a momentous B2B set at OSLO in London earlier this year, where they opened it with “Slamming Keys,” G Jones and Eprom are now taking their immersive vision across North America with a new run of 360° DJ sets at intimate venues in select cities. These shows will feature cutting-edge visual installations and surround-sound design, giving fans a rare chance to experience the duo’s futuristic soundscapes up close. The tour features a powerhouse lineup of support from LYNY, Nitepunk, Machinedrum, Joker, Curra, Ramon Pang, Heavee, and more TBA.
This New Year’s Eve, the duo will headline Mississippi Underground in St. Louis, Missouri, performing an extended audiovisual DJ set alongside LYNY, Nitepunk, and Joker, with additional guests soon to be announced, promising one of the most forward-thinking nights in electronic music.
