Pacific Avenue are officially entering their lovestruck, coming-of-age, big-feelings-but-make-it-anthemic era. The NSW four-piece have just announced their long-awaited second album, Lovesick Sentimental, arriving March 6th, 2026, and to celebrate they’ve dropped a glistening new single that’s basically sunshine in guitar form: ‘Here We Go Again’.
The track lands today alongside a brand-new music video, and it picks up right where their first preview – the earnest, punch-the-air indie-rock burner ‘Working Class Hero’ – left off. But this time, they’re pushing even deeper into the emotional trenches.
Pacific Avenue – ‘Here We Go Again’
Frontman Harry O’Brien says the new single is all about the messy, magic resilience of real love.
“‘Here We Go Again’ is a song about holding onto love – through the good times and the hard throughout a relationship,” he explains. “It’s finding the small things that make you continue to fall for that person.”
He also clarifies that its lyrical perspective isn’t totally straightforward. “It reads like a first-person recount; however, moments of the lyrics are meant to shift perspectives. ‘I almost forgot what you did’ is aimed back towards me, in times when I was hard to love.”
And because announcing an album and dropping a killer new single apparently wasn’t enough chaos for one day, Pacific Avenue have also revealed a 2026 national headline tour to boot, presented by triple j and hitting six dates across the nation this March.
It’s all shaping up to be a huge new chapter for Pacific Avenue, whose 2023 debut Flowers bloomed into legitimate breakout territory – topping the ARIA Australian Album Chart, reaching #3 overall and scoring multiple award nominations.
They’ve even become playlist darlings across Spotify, Apple, Amazon and YouTube – plus, in one of the more unexpected flexes, their songs have been blasted out at Manchester United, BBC One and BT Sport.
With Lovesick Sentimental, the band promise a new era that sees them fully in bloom. Pre-order it here and cop their full list of tour dates down below.
