Lewis Capaldi has been confirmed as headlining two huge ‘In The Park’ summer 2026 shows. Check out the details below.

The Scottish singer-songwriter is set to top the bills for both the installations scheduled for Newcastle and Liverpool next year.

The former will be held at the city’s Exhibition Park on Wednesday July 8, while the latter will take place at Sefton Park on Saturday August 15. Both mark Capaldi’s biggest ever outdoor performances in the respective cities.

The new dates come following the chart-topping singer having headed out on his 17-date arena tour across the UK and Ireland. These shows marked his first in two years, having recently come back from taking a hiatus to focus on his mental health, and have seen him tease fans with new, currently-unreleased music.

It also arrives as he shared his new song ‘Survive’ which reached the Number One spot on the charts, became the fastest-selling release of 2025, and secured his biggest-ever opening week.

Tickets for both Liverpool and Newcastle dates will go on sale on Friday (November 21) at 9am GMT. Pre-sale options will be available from 9am on Thursday (November 20). Support acts for both gigs will be shared at a later date. Visit here to get tickets.

Lewis Capaldi’s ‘In The Park’ 2026 shows are:

    JULY
8 – In The Park Newcastle, Exhibition Park

    AUGUST
15 – In The Park Liverpool, Sefton Park

Since sharing ‘Survive’, Capaldi has gone on to drop some other new singles, ‘Something In The Heavens’, ‘Almost’, and the latest track ‘The Day That I Die’. All have been described by the songwriter as some of his “most raw and personal songs to date”, and featured in his new EP ‘Survive’, which arrived last week (November 14).

Before heading out on his headline tour, Capaldi held a surprise set at the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. That slot was particularly poignant as his break from performing live started after he was forced to cut his set at Glastonbury 2023 short due to struggling with tics caused by Tourette’s.

Since then, he has teamed up with BetterHelp to provide 734,000 hours of free online therapy, and said it was because “therapy is the reason why I am able to be a musician again”. He would also play some warm up shows in May in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week.

Aside from the Newcastle and Liverpool shows, the singer also has plans for a new UK and Ireland tour in 2026, and that includes a headline slot at next year’s BST Hyde Park.
