Square Enix has announced details of a new, global concert tour that will feature the music of Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and more.

All-new symphonic concert series ‘The Music Of Square Enix: Magic, Memories And Melodies’ will “celebrate the unforgettable worlds and iconic soundtracks that have defined generations of video game storytelling and adventure,” and feature music from beloved video games Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Legend Of Mana, NieR, Octopath Traveler and more.

‘The Music Of Square Enix: Magic, Memories And Melodies’ has been created by the team behind ‘Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds’ and the ‘NieR: Orchestra Concert’ series.

“Through sweeping symphonic arrangements and stunning high-definition game visuals from Square Enix projected above the stage, this concert invites audiences to relive the stories, emotions, and adventures that continue to inspire players around the world,” reads a press release with Arnie and Eric Roth set to conduct the concerts.

Earlier this year Square Enix boss Tetsuya Nomura gave fans a promising update on Kingdom Hearts 4 and the third chapter in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake project following delay rumours. “We are making great strides and going according to schedule,” he confirmed. “So please wait for more information.”

It was previously confirmed the third Final Fantasy 7 Remake game won’t be a PlayStation 6 exclusive and a planned expansion for Rebirth was scrapped so developers could focus on the new game.

In other news Hideo Kojima, the creator of Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid, has reportedly been cast as a mole in the Japanese version of Zootopia 2.
