Adam Sandler returns to one of his most beloved films in Happy Gilmore 2.
Directed by Kyle Newachek, the sequel picks up almost three decades after the original, as Happy Gilmore (Sandler) comes out of golf retirement to help fund his daughter’s dream of going to a prestigious ballet school.
Many of the film’s original cast reprise their roles, including Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, Ben Stiller and Dennis Dugan, while Benny Safdie and Bad Bunny join as newcomers.
Along with starring in Happy Gilmore 2, Sandler serves as a co-writer and producer. The film was released on Netflix on July 25, 2025.
