In an elaborate and convoluted marketing rollout, Taylor Swift is slowly announcing her new album The Life of a Showgirl.
The album cover, tracklist and pretty much everything else is shrouded in mystery, though rumors of an October 13, 2025 shipping date abound. More details will be shared in The New Heights podcast episode featuring Miss Swift which will be released at 7pm Eastern Time on Wednesday, August 13th.
The real question is: Where will it stack up compared to the previous 11 albums in her discography?
In the meantime, Taylor shared this playlist on Spotify called “And, baby, that’s showbiz for you” made up of previously-released Swift hits produced by pop masterminds Max Martin and Shellback, indicating that her recent collaborator Jack Antonoff might not be involved in these upcoming recordings.
