Lady Gaga has brought her celebrated ‘MAYHEM Ball’ tour to Roblox’s hit Dress To Impress game
Lady Gaga’s ‘MAYHEM Ball’ tour kicked off last month in support of sixth studio album ‘Mayhem’. She’s set to continue touring North America until September when she’ll bring the theatrical show to Europe before wrapping things up with an Australian run in December.
However Lady Gaga has now confirmed her ‘Mayhem Ball’ will be coming to Roblox’s Dress To Impress, a game that challenges players to pull together themed looks before parading them down the runway.
“The Mistress of Mayhem has decided to take over Dress To Impress. Explore New Lady Gaga related themes, clothes, items and more,” reads the official Roblox announcement. “Lady Gaga has now taken the role as Empress of Style Showdown. Explore the new ‘Zombieboy’ challenge only in Style Showdown.”
As part of the event, special ‘Mayhem’-inspired game modes will be available alongside a wide range of in-game items inspired by the ‘MAYHEM Ball’ including decor, hairstyles, faces, a special runway and more. An ‘Abracadabra’ emote has also gone live to celebrate Gaga’s arrival.
Lady Gaga will also appear as an NPC judge for the ‘Style Showdown’ competitions and will host an in-game Q&A and meet and greet session this Saturday (August 23). To gain access to the event, fans can submit their favourite Lady Gaga themed looks from Dress To Impress on social media, which will then be judged by the ‘Abracadabra’ singer. The category is “Dress To Survive”
The limited-time event went live earlier this week and will run until August 29.
A special, Charli XCX-inspired Dress To Impress update launched last year in celebration of ‘Brat’ Summer and Sabrina Carpenter fans took things into their own fans to recreate iconic moments from her ‘Short N’ Sweet’ tour.
Shortly after announcing the huge arena tour, Gaga admitted that she “wasn’t planning to tour this year” but the “incredible response to the new album inspired me to keep things going.”
