hypersonic has officially unveiled the full line-up for its inaugural festival dates, following a huge teaser campaign over the last week. The EDM-focused one-day festival will take place in Sydney and Melbourne across the final weekend of November 2025, with multiple stages and DJs from across the world taking part. The full line-up, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.

Headlining the festival will be Armin Van Buuren, the Dutch DJ and producer who was last in Australia back in April 2024 as part of the Ultra Festival. Having first DJed in Australia back in 2001, Van Buuren has enjoyed continued success in the country over the decades – including being certified Platinum by ARIA for his 2013 single ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ with Trevor Guthrie.

Elsewhere on the bill, perennial party-starter Steve Aoki will once again return to Australia – coincidentally, having also last been here in April 2024 on Ultra alongside Van Buuren. Swedish DJ Alesso returns after a three-and-a-half year absence, as does Norweigan duo Kream, while English producer Aaron Hibell makes his Australian debut as part of the festivities.

“This is your intro to summer,” wrote the festival organisers in tandem with the announcement. “We just gave your summer a main character arc. You’re welcome.” Symbiotic, the group putting on the festival, bill themselves as “Australia’s largest trance events company”, and also run festivals such as Transmission, Hyperdoom and Reminisce. They will host the mini-festival Altitude: Without Limits in both Sydney and Melbourne next month, before taking it to the Genting Highlands in Malaysia.
