Spanish/German singer and songwriter Luna Keller teams up with longtime collaborator Dom Malin to deliver goodbye, a one-take piano duet filled to the brim with emotion and longing.
The first single to be taken from their upcoming EP, goodbye finds both artist reflecting on their journey shared and looking forward to reuniting with their partners after being away on tour. This is a song about constantly missing the one you love, capturing the heartache one feels when it is time to say goodbye again, not wanting their loved one to go this time. We can feel the raw, honest emotion pouring from their gorgeous vocals and lush harmonies which are accompanied by an intimate and delicate piano-based melody that together create a heartwarming listening experience perfect for a laid-back weekend.
It’s interesting how songs can change their meaning to us over time, when we wrote goodbye it was about missing our partners on tour. But when we recorded it I had just gone through a break up and I got to channel all the emotion from that heartache into my vocals, it was really cathartic. And now that we release the song it feels like the closing of a chapter, a collection of memories and moments shared while making this EP.
