British avant-garde collective Black Country, New Road are heading back Down Under, announcing a run of Australian dates for summer 2026 that’ll see them hit theatre venues across the East Coast in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane this February, alongside a spot on the lineup for WA’s Perth Festival.
The tour comes hot on the heels of their latest record Forever Howlong – a bold reinvention that’s earned rave reviews for its collaborative songwriting and yep, even the odd recorder solo.
Black Country, New Road – ‘Socks’
Sharing vocal and lyrical duties across the band has sparked what The Guardian dubbed “a gentler, more bucolic direction” for the ensemble, and it’s one that’s connecting them with fresh audiences while keeping their die-hard fans guessing.
The record also marks a significant new chapter for a group who’ve weathered big shifts in their short but acclaimed career, their “triumph in the face of adversity” now translating into some of their most joyous and communal live performances to date.
Their upcoming AU tour promises to showcase that theatrical energy in full force, and you can cop a squiz at all the dates and ticketing info down below.
