Australian singer and songwriter Nazar shares his brand new single Take Me From Heaven, a smooth and delicate piece of Contemporary R&B music.
I am really enjoying the tone of his smooth vocals, and how they glide effortlessly over the warm production. Take Me From Heaven finds the talented artist singing about losing someone you loved and feeling guilty for pushing them away. A heartfelt piece of music where he owns up his mistakes and insecurities, blaming himself for the end of the relationship and showing how much it hurts to see that person he drove away now loves somebody else. A relatable storytelling flawlessly conveyed through his soothing vocals which are accompanied by delicate guitar plucks, subtle rhythms and a memorable guitar solo that come together to create a comforting, yet sad atmosphere perfect for a reflective day home alone!
It’s always easier to play the victim, which is one of the flaws I open up about in this. So making a song confessing to my mistakes and insecurities, how I don’t deserve peace until I make amends, and calling it Take Me From Heaven, Just feels like the best thing for me right now. On that note I used a heroes and villians metaphor to support this idea. This song also uses the metaphor of “heaven” to not just symbolise peace, but to symbolise isolation and empytness, life isn’t real without adversity, and trying to erase it is like erasing your own humanity.
