Wings have announced a definitive self-titled anthology collection, personally overseen by Paul McCartney. Find all the details below.

The set is due to arrive on November 7 in “an impressive array of beautifully designed formats”, per a press release. You can pre-order it here.

Each version will include the band’s hits ‘Band On The Run’, ‘Live And Let Die’, ‘Jet’ and ‘Let ‘Em In’ – all of which are staples of McCartney’s solo live shows to this day.

The forthcoming ‘WINGS’ is described as “a lovingly curated time capsule of imagery and music for the mega Wings fan”. It is available as a 3LP limited edition colour vinyl, as well as a 1CD and 1LP.

Additionally, fans can get their hands on both 3LP and 2CD versions – complete with an expanded 32-page booklet featuring photographs, artwork, paintings, trivia and information about the group.

All physical formats come with a booklet containing an introduction from McCartney.

The artwork for ‘WINGS’ was overseen alongside Paul by Aubrey ‘Po’ Powell of Hipgnosis – the iconic design studio that worked with Macca for seven Wings albums, including ‘Band On The Run, ‘Venus And Mars’, ‘Wings Over America’ and ‘Wings Greatest’.

The expanded booklet boasts extensive album-by-album notes on the artwork written by Po, with additional editorial by Pete Paphides.

It also features original artwork by Humphrey Ocean. The British painter first worked with Wings on some of the artwork for ‘Wings At The Speed Of Sound’, before being invited on tour by Paul and Linda McCartney in 1976 as their artist in residence – rendering behind-the-scenes sketches of the band.

The Blu-ray version of ‘WINGS’ is the first time Wings songs are available on a physical format in Dolby. Find the complete list of formats here, and check out the official trailer above.

Wings released a 50th anniversary reissue of their fourth studio album, 1975’s ‘Venus And Mars’, earlier this year. This followed the theatrical release of the film One Hand Clapping and its accompanying 1974 live album in 2024.

Later this year, the group will release a new book titled Wings: The Story Of A Band On The Run – featuring many previously unseen photographs. In April, McCartney revealed the cover and shared an excerpt of the foreword.

Meanwhile, ‘The Beatles Anthology’ project is returning in 2025 with a new book, album and video.

McCartney is set to embark on his 2025 ‘Got Back’ North American tour at the end of this month – marking his first trek across the US and Canada since 2022.

In other news, Macca was recently spotted at the Oasis reunion tour in Los Angeles. He attended one of the nights at the city’s Rose Bowl stadium.
