Tom Odell has announced his return to Australia, playing his biggest headlining shows to date next January. The three-date east coast run comes as part of the English singer-songwriter’s Wonderful Life world tour, which is in support of his recently-released seventh studio album A Wonderful Life. Oddell’s upcoming tour dates, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.
“Can’t wait to come back to Australia in January,” said Odell when sharing the news on his social media. “[I’m] so excited for these shows.” Odell had previously returned to Australia in January of this year, playing two sold-out shows with the Metropolitan Orchestra exclusively at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall. As such, the Wonderful Life tour will mark Odell’s first time playing in both Melbourne and Brisbane for over 12 years – having last played in those cities circa January 2014.
Tom Odell – ‘Wonderful Life’
A Wonderful Life was released last Friday on September 5th, 2025. Its chart positions is yet to be determined, although all six of Odell’s previous studio albums have debuted in the top 10 of the UK Albums Chart. Three singles were lifted from the album ahead of its release: ‘Don’t Let Me Go’, ‘Don’t Cry, Put Your Head On My Shoulder’ (a titular tribute to the late Brian Wilson) and ‘Ugly’.
Press materials for the album described it as “a record that embodies a universal spirit of empathetic, total honesty”. “[The album] looks out at the broken landscape of modern, fractured society and finds dystopia and doom, but also – integrally – glimmers of beauty and hope,” it read.
