Masked alt-metal newcomers PRESIDENT are wasting zero time making their mark. After exploding seemingly out of nowhere this year, the enigmatic outfit have announced their first-ever Australian headline show — a one-off at Melbourne’s Stay Gold on Friday, 12th December.

The gig lands while PRESIDENT are in town supporting Architects on their national tour, giving fans a rare chance to experience the band’s raw intensity up close.

PRESIDENT – ‘In the Name of the Father’

Tickets go on sale Friday, 3rd October (1pm local time), with an exclusive artist presale kicking off the day before.

Operating at the collision point of heavy riffs, electronic chaos, and cinematic atmosphere, PRESIDENT are less interested in image than intent. Their debut single ‘In The Name Of The Father’ set the tone earlier this year: a bleak, unflinching meditation on mortality and existential dread that doubled as one hell of a mission statement.

That first strike, combined with their electrifying live shows and masked mystique, has seen PRESIDENT rise from total unknowns to one of the most talked-about new names in heavy music right now.

And with their only Australian headline performance locked in for December, the secret’s well and truly out. Cop all the info down below.
