Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter Dru Cutler has just shared his brand new single Holy Ghost, a captivating indie electronic cut!
Taken from his Romance Dust EP, which is out now, Holy Ghost finds the talented artist painting snapshots of youthful rebelling and fleeting, nostalgic nights. It highlights trying to find some sort of faith in the middle of mischievous adventures and bad decisions. A reflection on finding meaning and belonging in reckless nights and imperfect people, Holy Ghost pairs Cutler’s lush, expressive vocals with delicate keys, infectious drum patterns, bright synths and rhythms that come together to create an intimate and warm listening experience!
Speaking about the song, Dru Cutler said,
‘Holy Ghost’ came out of a few specific vignettes from my life. Nights that felt like they could break you or save you. There’s an element of trying to find faith in the middle of noise and bad decisions. I wasn’t aiming for a clean story so much as a feeling. I was attracted to that weird kind of freedom when you’re out past your curfew.
