Sydney melodic hardcore heroes BLOOM are entering a new era – and they’re bringing America’s AVOID along for the ride.
Fresh off the announcement of their eagerly-awaited sophomore album The Light We Chase, the five-piece have revealed a massive national headline tour for February 2026, giving Aussie fans the first chance to experience the new record live on home soil.
Bloom – ‘Out Of Reach’
The run kicks off at Brisbane’s Crowbar on February 11, before storming through the Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Melbourne, Frankston and wrapping up at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on February 21.
Since emerging in 2017, BLOOM have cemented themselves as one of Australia’s most exciting heavy acts – blending cathartic emotion with crushing intensity and a melodic edge that hits straight in the chest. Their new album marks a bold step forward, threading shoegaze textures, grunge grit and stadium-ready hooks with guest features from Patrick Miranda (Movements), Mikaila Delgado (Yours Truly) and Jack Bergin (Void Of Vision).
Joining them on the road next Feb will be Seattle chaos merchants AVOID, whose ‘90s-meets-modern heavy aesthetic and unrelenting live energy have seen them tour with Dayseeker, Thornhill and Silent Planet.
If their recent shows across Europe, the UK and North America are anything to go by, BLOOM’s 2026 homecoming will be nothing short of huge.
