German-French musician Erik C makes his official music introduction with the release of his debut single Goodbye, a melancholic pop song about heartbreak, letting go, and embracing new beginnings.
Goodbye finds the talented artist pouring his heart out and telling the story of someone who deeply loves someone but feels responsible for their pain, living with regret and haunted by unspoken words and lost moments. In the end he believes is best to let go and say goodbye as it’s the only way for both to find peace. A relatable storytelling about heartbreak that is beautifully conveyed through his smooth, expressive vocals which are accompanied by an emotive piano-based melody nicely intertwined with cinematic strings that create a dramatic, emotionally-charged atmosphere with a melancholic depth.
