Halsey has shared an update on her health after spending the night in an emergency room.

Yesterday (November 3), the singer-songwriter – who is in Boston for two concerts at the MGM Music Hall – took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that she had spent the night in ER.
While the singer did not reveal the exact extent of why she was hospitalised, she did share in an update that she faced a “minor medical emergency” after her first Boston show. She also assured fans that she’s feeling “A-Okay” and will be performing the second show as scheduled, just hours after being discharged.
Her post reads: “Boston I’m gonna be honest with ya, after the show last night I was in the ER till 6 this morning. Minor medical emergency but I am A-Okay now and ready to rock tonight! But if I’m pacing myself, that’s why!”
She then went on to thank the medical team who took care of her during her stint in the ER, calling them “the absolute best team I’ve ever met”.

Halsey has been very vocal and open about their health struggles. Back in 2018, the ‘Without Me’ singer revealed that they were diagnosed with endometriosis and had received surgery for the condition. They have also spoken about their experience performing on stage while having a miscarriage at the age of 20.
Back in June last year, the singer took to their official Instagram account and revealed that they were diagnosed with Lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder in 2022. “Both of which are currently being managed or in remission; and both of which I will likely have for the duration of my life,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors. After 2 years, I’m feeling better and I’m more grateful than ever to have music to turn to. I can’t wait to get back where I belong: With you all Singing and screaming my heart out.”
Then in September 2024, the singer once again found herself hospitalised after suffering a “very scary” seizure.
The singer-songwriter released her fifth studio effort ‘The Great Impersonator’ last October, earning her a glowing five-star review from NME and being named one of our best albums of 2024. Kristen S. Hé wrote in a five-star review of the album for NME: “‘The Great Impersonator’ comes from a place she describes as “the space between life and death”. On the surface, it’s a tribute to the artists who made her. But on the other hand, it’s a brutal reckoning with chronic illnesses and postpartum depression, written when she wasn’t certain if she’d make it to the other side.”
