‘The Running Man’ came from a very personal place. I wrote it during a time when I was constantly moving physically, emotionally, and creatively, never quite able to settle. Working on it in the studio with Richie B reignited the same energy I had when I first started out. It’s soulful, cinematic, and honest; every lyric feels like a confession.
