Sydney’s beloved punk-rock firestarters Hellions have officially risen from the ashes – and they’re not just dipping a toe back in. They’re kicking the bloody door down.
After six long, Hellions-shaped years, the founding four-piece – Dre Faivre, Anthony Caruso, Matthew Gravolin and Joshua Campiao – are reuniting onstage for the first time since 2019. And according to the band, this isn’t a nostalgic victory lap… it’s the start of an entirely new chapter.
“Are you ready?“
The group will return to the stage this December with two huge headline shows at Crowbar Brisbane (Dec 27) and Crowbar Sydney (Dec 31), promising a full-catalogue celebration and the explosive energy fans have been starved of since the Rue era.
What began as rumours of a one-off Opera Oblivia anniversary moment has now evolved into something far bigger, with the band teasing a full-blown return, with the band also teasing fans with pics from the studio.
“For the first time since 2019, we’re back as a four-piece. Are you ready? See you in December!” Hellions announced on their socials.
Big hype.
