Ed Sheeran delivers a different kind of concert film with his Netflix special, One Shot With Ed Sheeran.
Directed by Phillip Barantini, the one-hour film takes place in real time as the singer-songwriter ventures across New York performing tracks with passers-by in bars, on the street and atop tourist buses.
Along with serving as a celebration his career, it’s an impressive technical achievement. Like Barantini’s previous work on Adolescence and Boiling Point, there are no cuts in the footage, as the director switches seamlessly from drones to handheld cameras.
One Shot With Ed Sheeran was released on Netflix on November 21, 2025.
