Two cult legends. One massive tour. A combined 85 years of snotty riffs, fuzzed-out hooks and punk-rock brilliance.

That’s what fans are getting next March when Redd Kross and Hard-Ons reunite for a long-awaited 2026 co-headline Australian tour.

    Hard-Ons – ‘Buzz Buzz Buzz’

Fresh off major anniversary celebrations and armed with new music, the LA power-pop princes and the Sydney punk pioneers are teaming up once again to bring maximum volume, maximum melody and maximum chaos to stages from Queensland to Victoria.

It’s a pairing that feels deeply rooted. Redd Kross and The Hard-Ons first crossed paths as labelmates on US imprint Big Time Records back in 1987 – though their shared DNA goes back even further. Both bands kicked off as teenagers in their local punk scenes, both pushed boundaries their elders absolutely did not want pushed, and both caused delightful trouble by glueing ’60s pop sweetness onto ’70s hard-rock swagger and punk attitude.

Basically, they were among the first bands brave (or unhinged) enough to point out that KISS and the Ramones are actually connected, and in doing so they helped shape an entire universe of melodic punk and power-pop that followed.

Hard-Ons’ current frontman Tim Rogers also has a long-standing bond with Redd Kross — a young You Am I shared bills with them on their 1994 Australian tour with the Hoodoo Gurus, back when plaid was currency and guitar solos were still considered suspicious.

Both bands are also fresh off major milestones: Redd Kross recently celebrated their 45th anniversary, releasing a critically adored double album, plus a docoand a book. While Hard-Ons marked 40 years with their own film (and a sequel already doing the rounds), while continuing their Top 40 streak with last year’s I Like You a Lot Getting Older.

Cop all the details of their 2026 Australian co-headline tour down below.
